A Cuttable Wireless Power Transfer Sheet

For fabricating furniture with wireless power transfer (WPT) capabilities, designers need to fix the the appearance/mechanics of the furniture first, and then design the circuitry specialized for each particular case. Moreover, when a wide power transfer area is intended, it is necessary to implement coil arrays, which cause interference between the coils: specialized engineering technique is required to overcome this problem. To enable furniture designers to easily/quickly build furniture with WPT, we propose a cuttable coil array board that can power devices placed on a large area and can be freely cut by furniture designers to modify its size and shape.


無線電力伝送に用いられるコイルを家具類に組み込む場合、現状では家具類の意匠を決定したのちにコイル形状を設計・実装する。特に複数のコイルを同時に用いて、より広い給電範囲を対象にする場合には、コイル間の相互干渉を考慮した配置設計をする必要があり、高周波回路に関する深い知識が必要になる。本研究では複数の給電コイルを自由に切断でき、かつ広い平面にも適用可能な無線電力伝送ボードを提案する。
